No Sugar Added Walnut Protein Brownies

Ooey gooey brownies with just one gram of sugar and loaded with protein and healthy fats! A perfect plant-based way to satisfy your sweet tooth without the sugar crash!

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp crushed walnuts plus more for topping
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • ½ tsp baking powder (optional)
  • 2 tsp unsweetened mini chocolate chips (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and add half a cup of water. Keep adding water until a smooth batter texture is reached.
  3. Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  4. Pour batter into a pan.
  5. Bake until when you insert a knife in the center, the knife comes out clean (or less if you like gooey brownies!
  6. Optional: Top with some (coconut) yogurt and fresh berries for a nourishing take on Brownie's a 'la mode!
